In previous years, I’ve had horribly unrealistic New Year’s Resolutions, which have died out after a few weeks. Despite having the best of intentions, they’ve never lasted very long. This year, I’m determined things will be different, and to make sure they are I’m already taking steps!
My first goal relates to my blog. I want to make better use of Pinterest in order to reach a wider audience. I already use Pinterest for my personal life (because who doesn’t love planning out their future house) but I’m yet to start properly utilising it! I also want to work on my blog photography. I love photography but unfortunately thanks to the terrible indoor lighting in my university dorm room my blog photos tend to be very poor quality. I asked my Dad for a light box for Christmas in order to work on this (so stay tuned to see my progress)!
In relation to my personal life, I want to work harder on my studies. I’m currently studying Law, so there’s plenty to be done! I want to get into a routine to ensure I stay up to date with my workload, rather than just working on essays and ignoring actually studying until it’s too close to exams to do well.
My final goal for this year is to cut down on the amount of snacking I do! I eat an unhealthy amount of junk food, particularly in the evening after my meals. In order to cut down on this, I have a thirty day meal planner printed out, which I’m determined to stick to.
