I ordered the December Unibox during their Black Friday sale (and also snagged a 2018 planner). The Unibox is priced at £21.95 plus postage and packaging per month on a monthly basis. You can sign up here.
As I ordered for December, the box had a wonderful festive theme. Inside there was some Organic Mulled Wine Spices, which can be used to create alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as wine and cider. There was also a Nordic style Ceramic bowl, with a beautiful reindeer and snowflake print, and some card pegs so you can hang Christmas cards. There was a Grace&Honey Whipped Body Butter in “figgy pudding”, which smells heavenly, and some chocolates from Goupie. To round off the Christmas theme, there was a make-your-own Christmas cards kit (and a glue stick), and some candy canes. My favourite product which was included, however, was the Tiny Toasties hand warmer, which is reusable. It’s been lovely to use on cold Winter walks!
Each month, The Unibox includes between six and eight full size items, as well as a motivational card, and their tub zine which features tips and recipes. The December box’s recipe was Chocolate Lace Cookies, which were gluten free. While I haven’t had the chance to try the recipe for myself, the cookies sound really yummy!
While The Unibox is quite expensive for a box aimed at students, I was quite impressed by the items inside the December box. I love the ceramic bowl, and I’ve made great use of the hand warmer. I definitely can’t afford to have a rolling subscription, but I will order again in the future as a treat.
