GlossyBox offers several different subscriptions, and sends boxes out monthly. A rolling one month contract costs £10 plus £3.25 delivery. If you want to subscribe, you can check GlossyBox out here. You’ll even get 20% off your first box!

The theme for January’s box was Rebooting and Rejuvenating. I was really impressed, and I felt the box was really good value for money!

Inside the box there was a full-size, one month box of Boots’ “Beauty Beneath” Supplements. Each daily dose of two soft-gel capsules contains 19 nutrients which work to boost your collagen production, leaving your skin healthy and glowing.

Also in this month’s box was a full-size “Green Tea Primer” by Evelyn Iona Cosmetics, which I loved. It provided a flawless base for my foundation, and kept my makeup on all day long. It’s also cruelty free, which is a huge bonus! I also really like the Dr Botanicals “Moroccan Rose Superfood” facial oil. It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated, although the smell was a little strong for my liking.

The final two items in this month’s box were a full “Nail and Cuticle Energizer” by Nail Medic. It’s a reparative oil which hydrates your nails, leaving them stronger and less likely to break! I’ve been loving this oil as my nails break really easily, and I feel like they’ve improved dramatically since I started using this oil. There was also a full-size cream blush by Apicia. I don’t use blush very often, but I tried this one and was left very disappointed. It was a really strong colour, and didn’t blend well.

Overall, I was really impressed by the contents of this month’s box. I felt it was really good value for money! I loved that there was such a mix of unusual products, it was like nothing I’d had from any monthly subscriptions boxes which I’ve tried.

  1. Primer plays an important role in make up though i use it occasionally only while i cant go without blusher. Its good that oil is working good for your nails.
    And the journey continues..

  2. Those capsules are probably really good extra boost on your skin and hair. I have similar ones and I have seen a huge difference on my hair, nails and skin after some months of use. My hair grows like crazy! Seems like a really good box all in all :)!

  3. I have been wondering whether to take a subscription box. We have some that allow you to subscribe for only one month. I think I will try one of them out.
