The theme for January’s box was Rebooting and Rejuvenating. I was really impressed, and I felt the box was really good value for money!
Inside the box there was a full-size, one month box of Boots’ “Beauty Beneath” Supplements. Each daily dose of two soft-gel capsules contains 19 nutrients which work to boost your collagen production, leaving your skin healthy and glowing.
Also in this month’s box was a full-size “Green Tea Primer” by Evelyn Iona Cosmetics, which I loved. It provided a flawless base for my foundation, and kept my makeup on all day long. It’s also cruelty free, which is a huge bonus! I also really like the Dr Botanicals “Moroccan Rose Superfood” facial oil. It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated, although the smell was a little strong for my liking.
The final two items in this month’s box were a full “Nail and Cuticle Energizer” by Nail Medic. It’s a reparative oil which hydrates your nails, leaving them stronger and less likely to break! I’ve been loving this oil as my nails break really easily, and I feel like they’ve improved dramatically since I started using this oil. There was also a full-size cream blush by Apicia. I don’t use blush very often, but I tried this one and was left very disappointed. It was a really strong colour, and didn’t blend well.
Overall, I was really impressed by the contents of this month’s box. I felt it was really good value for money! I loved that there was such a mix of unusual products, it was like nothing I’d had from any monthly subscriptions boxes which I’ve tried.
